The investment promotion activities of the IPCS from 10 to May 16, 2021 have the following main points.
May 11, 2021, welcome Taiwanese businesses, guide and support investment in high-tech agriculture.
May 12, 2021, attended the online conference “Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and UK”.
Vietnam and the UK have a close relationship in trade and investment connectivity with the UKVFTA. According to Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, although the Vietnamese economy is facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 epidemic, it has made good development steps based on drastic epidemic prevention and control policies. The Minister hoped that development cooperation would bring economic relations of the two countries to a new height.
UK Ambassador in Vietnam H.E Gareth Ward emphasized that the bilateral cooperation will help the two countries have a sustainable development strategy.
May 12, 2021, attended the webinar “Singapore – Vietnam Economic Co-operation: Future Development of Danang”. With a favorable geographical position, stable socio-economic situation, Da Nang is the most livable city in Vietnam, well received by international friends and effectively attracting foreign investment.
