Minister Dung spoke highly of Japan’s ODA provision for Vietnam through technical assistance, capacity building, institutional improvement and infrastructure projects, thus creating a driving force to promote Vietnam’s sustainable socio-economic development.
He agreed to organise a high-level economic conference on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations, adding this is a chance to exchange views of shared concerns such as science-computer, technology and green transformation in order to accelerate the two nations’ cooperation.
The minister highlighted a number of priority areas of Vietnam, including projects using new and green technologies, with high technologies, innovation, and high spillover effects to promote both economies in the area of digital, shared and circular economy. The Ministry of Planning and Investment is committed to accompanying Japanese enterprises in effectively and safe investing in Vietnam.
YAMADA, for his part, affirmed Japan’s demands to cooperate with Vietnam in green transformation technology, towards having an initiative to build a “net-zero Asian communities” using environmentally and friendly technologies, and digital and green transformation./.
