The MOU between IPCS and the Taiwan-Vietnam Association May 14, 2021

Continuing to implement business support programs, today May 14, 2021, the Investment Promotion Center South Vietnam (IPCS) and the Association for Economic, Cultural and Educational of Taiwan (Taiwan-Vietnam Association) held a ceremony to sign a MOU. Mrs. Tran Thi Hai Yen, Director of IPCS and Mrs. Ngo Pham Tran, President of the Taiwan-Vietnam Association signed the MOU.

According to this cooperation memorandum, both units agreed to coordinate in organizing training classes, updating and improving knowledge for businesses with the topic of notable new points in the Law on Investment, Law Labor, Tax, and training of highly specialized human resources…; supporting investment promotion programs and field surveys in localities; support to organize seminars, update new information about the market, mechanisms and preferential policies for businesses.

As the 4th largest FDI investor in Vietnam, in the last two years, the wave of expanding business investment activities from Taiwan to Vietnam has become more exciting, especially from electronics corporations. In 2020, Foxcom Group officially invested and operated in Vietnam, followed by a wave of investment environment research from large electronics corporations such as Wieson, Wistron, Lite-on, Au Optronics, and others. 
In the context of unpredictable developments in the world, Vietnam’s stability is bringing confidence and great opportunities to investors. With reforms in the investment environment, preferential policies and support efforts from governments, it has created a bright destination to attract investors, the southern region.
