On April 6, 2022, the Southern Investment Promotion Center in collaboration with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City organized a delegation of Taiwanese businesses and investors to explore the environment. Investment opportunities in Binh Phuoc province.
At the meeting with leaders of related departments and branches of Binh Phuoc province, Taiwanese businesses were interested in issues of labor recruitment, land rent inside and outside the industrial park, rental location, etc. land, policy and list of renewable energy investment projects, local key agricultural products to encourage processing and processing of finished products, suitable industries for investment in industrial parks, etc. Southern Investment Promotion (IPCS), Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) and representatives of departments and sectors discussed, exchanged and answered issues that businesses and investors are interested in.
After the introduction of industrial parks and a number of projects calling for investment, the Taiwanese business delegation with more than 10 investors went to field survey 02 industrial parks: Area 655ha in Minh Hung Industrial Park – Sikico, district Hon Quan, Binh Phuoc province. This area is reserved for industries such as: textiles, plating, medical gloves, etc. And the subdivisions of Becamex Industrial Park – Binh Phuoc have a planned area of more than 2,400 ha, developed by Joint Stock Company. Becamex – Binh Phuoc technical infrastructure is the investor. After 4 years of implementation and calling for investment, so far, it has attracted a total investment capital of more than 1 billion USD. At the same time, directly contributing to the budget more than 1,700 billion VND, creating jobs for more than 6,000 employees. Currently, Becamex – Binh Phuoc Industrial Park is continuing to invite domestic and foreign investors to invest in projects here.
