Training course on investment promotion knowledge in Dong Thap province

On November 18, 2021, the Southern Investment Promotion Center (IPCS) in collaboration with the Investment and Trade Promotion Center of Dong Thap Province held the program “Investment promotion knowledge training course in 2021”  for the contingent of cadres, civil servants and public employees doing investment promotion work in Dong Thap province.

The program includes practical topics, timely updates on new regulations of the law on investment, forecasting FDI flow trends in the new trend and improving the capacity to attract and call for investment in the new period. , share practical experiences on investment promotion and effective investor selection of experts.

The training program, fostering knowledge of investment promotion in Dong Thap province has the participation of speakers who are experts with professional knowledge and experience in investment promotion, the content includes 4 main topics:

  1. Overview of FDI investment situation and some points to note in investment promotion in the new situation (Ms. Tran Thi Hai Yen – Director of Southern Investment Promotion Center)
  2. Experience in investment promotion to attract investment capital from Taiwan (Mr. Le Quang Tuan – Assistant Director, In charge of Investment Promotion, Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei, Taiwan)
  3. On-site investment promotion activities (Mr. Tu Minh Thien – Rector of Van Hien University, Former Director of Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Center)
  4. Renovating the investment promotion work of Dong Thap province in the new situation (Ms. Tran Thi Hai Yen – Director of the Southern Investment Promotion Center)

The time between the topics is discussion sessions for the participants to learn more information, exchange and Q&A directly with the speakers on related issues.
